Prop-firm cockpit · match — manage — rate

Find the prop firm you'll actually pass. Then keep the account.

Describe your strategy in detail — a live simulation runs it through evaluation and the funded account, and ranks every firm by your net EV, pass odds and days to first payout. Then PropGuard guards the account so a hidden rule never takes it back.

No spam — one email when it's ready. The optional questions decide what we build first.

One tool, three jobs

Everything the funded journey actually needs

Choosing a firm, passing it, and getting paid are three different problems. Most traders juggle spreadsheets, Discord rumours and the firm's own dashboard. PropGuard does all three in one place.

01Match

Pick by odds, not by ads

Feed in your edge and a live simulation ranks firms by estimated pass odds, net EV and days to first payout — not by whoever paid for the affiliate spot.

02Manage

Never breach a rule again

Live tracking of trailing drawdown, daily loss, the consistency rule and payout eligibility — with a warning before a trade or a day crosses the line.

03Rate

Know who actually pays

Independent scores from real reviews and reported payouts, plus the hidden rules buried in the fine print — surfaced before you fund, not after.

01 · Match — the full journey

Pass odds are half the story. We simulate to your first payout.

Most calculators stop at the challenge. PropGuard keeps every surviving run trading on the funded account — against payout gates, consistency caps and trailing floors — until the first withdrawal clears or the account dies.

  • Net EV — expected first payout minus the evaluation fee
  • The optimal payout goal — PropGuard computes when requesting maximizes your strategy's EV, not too early and not too late
  • Days to first payout, counted across both phases
  • The odds the funded account dies before it ever pays

Follows the console above — shows the best-EV firm for your inputs. Fees = July 2026 list prices (futures firms bill monthly; one cycle assumed). Split at first payout: Apex 100% of first $25k, Topstep 90%, others 80%. First-payout limits are modeled: Apex cap $2k, Topstep 50% of profits ≤ $2k, MFFU cap $5k, TPT only profits above the 4% buffer — CFD firms have no cap (verified). Assumes you stop the day when the next loss would breach the daily limit, and request the computed optimal payout goal — not everything on the account — once the firm's gates allow it; funded phase capped at 60 trading days. Estimates, not guarantees.

The firm's dashboard shows the number. It never warns you.

PropGuard pulls every funded account — across every firm — into one cockpit, with more detail than the firms' own dashboards, and tells you how much room is left before the line, not after.

  • All your funded accounts, every firm, one screen
  • Balance, open positions, drawdown room, daily buffer, consistency and payout progress — live per account

Every firm graded on the thing that matters: do they pay?

We aggregate public reviews and reported payouts into one honest score — and pull the rules most traders only discover on withdrawal day into plain sight.

Under the hood

How the pass score is actually calculated

No black box. Every number comes from a two-phase Monte-Carlo simulation — the same method quant desks use — run live against each firm's exact rules, through the challenge and on to the first funded payout.

  1. 1

    You describe your edge

Win rate, average risk-reward, risk per trade, how often you trade — the numbers that define your account's path.

  2. 2

    We replay it 100,000 times

Each run simulates trade-by-trade against a firm's real rules — and every run that passes keeps trading the funded account against payout gates, consistency caps and trailing floors.

  3. 3

    The survivors become your numbers

The share of runs that reach a first payout is your odds; the payouts minus the fee are your net EV. We show the spread, not just one flattering number.

How it works

From strategy to payout, guarded the whole way

STEP 01

Describe your strategy

Instruments, style, holding time, average trades and target return. A couple of minutes, no account needed yet.

STEP 02

Get matched, then connect

See firms ranked by your pass and payout odds. Pick one, link the funded account read-only, and PropGuard starts watching.

STEP 03

Trade guarded, get paid

Real-time warnings before any rule breaks — so the account survives long enough for the payout to actually land.

Why I'm building this

I trade funded accounts myself. For years I bought challenges the way everyone does — blind. No idea what my real odds of passing were, let alone of ever generating a payout. And I lost more than one funded account to a rule I technically knew but didn't track in time: a trailing drawdown that quietly crept up, a consistency limit I forgot on a good day. PropGuard's math is how I trade today — a strategy built for funded accounts with known probabilities, generating payouts on a fixed rhythm instead of on hope. This is the tool I kept wishing existed. If you've been there too, I'd genuinely love your input on what to build first.

Questions

Answered before you ask

Is it safe to connect my funded account?
Yes. PropGuard uses read-only access — it can see your balance and open positions to track rules, but it can never place a trade or move money. Prefer not to connect? Just pick your firm and PropGuard tracks its published rules against numbers you enter.
How are net EV, pass odds and days-to-payout calculated?
From your own strategy stats — win rate, risk-reward, trades per day — run through 100,000 two-phase Monte-Carlo simulations per firm: first the evaluation, then the funded account until the first payout clears or the account dies. PropGuard also searches over payout goals and picks the EV-optimal request point for your edge — request too early and the payout is tiny, too late and the account may die first. Net EV = expected first payout (after the firm's split and payout caps) minus the evaluation fee. It's a data-driven estimate to compare firms, not a promise. No tool can guarantee you'll pass or get paid.
Which prop firms do you support?
Ten at launch: FTMO, FundedNext, FundingPips, The5ers, The Funded Trader, Apex, Topstep, MyFundedFutures, Take Profit Trader and Crypto Fund Trader — with more added by demand. When you join the list, the firm you tell us moves up the queue.
What does it cost?
Early access is free for the first users. Afterwards it's a simple monthly subscription — far less than re-buying a challenge you blew on a rule. Everyone on the waitlist gets founder pricing.
Are the firm ratings affiliate-paid?
No. Rankings come from public reviews and reported payouts — never from what a firm pays us. Firms can't buy a better score. That's the whole point.
